Answer:

You alarm should not sound if you start it. I've installed a few alarms and like most electrical gadgets alarms go bad after 4-6yrs. Some sooner than others depending on the mft, ie Clifford is notorious for faulty alarms. Try disconnecting your alarm at the battery, this can sometimes reset a faulty alarm. If that does not work disconnect the alarm brain (black box) located up under the drivers feet/pedals. Disconnect and reconnect all the plugs. Sometimes plugs work themselves loose. Then try starting your car again. If your alarm led is flashing while it is unarmed then one of your trigger pins is faulty - door pins, hood pin, trunk pin, etc. If none of these work them your alarms brain/computer is bad And you need to buy a new alarm or carefully remove the old alarm. If you don't have enough money for a new alarm yet. You can use your existing LED light and hook it up to flash as a false alarm light, when the key is not in the ignition. hope this helps :)
There are no generic codes in the US. You would need to be specific as top the location and then check the local city laws for the specific code requirements. If you mean the code sent to the fire department, that would be classified and asking about that could lead to possible arrest, prosecution, and detention.
I get all my gear free from my sponsors due to how great I am, so I would not know.
