Answer:

Turoa, Mt Ruapehu, North Island, New Zealand. - love the fact that it is in the middle of the island with no other mt's at all, just flat ground!! - great terrain, awesome snow on a good day!! and summer snowboarding when there is still snow!! - just had my first weekend of the season, and it rocked - blue skies and fresh snow. It's what life is all about - 'good times with good people'!! Coronet Peak, Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand. - good on a powder day, 'concrete peak' after a clear night. - awesome night skiing mixed in with some mulled wine and only 25 minutes from the best party town in NZ Remarkables, Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand - awesome 'home run' on powder days, gorgeous views of Lake Wakatipu when you hike to the top. Treble Cone, Wanaka, South Island, New Zealand - absolutely wicked, the longest runs in NZ, huge natural half pipes, awesome views, hot boys etc what more can you ask for!! Oh and powder you get stuck in, and can't get out of!!
Sad to say, but this will ber short. Mount Shasta, N California Favorite feature- The Super Kicker (35-40 foot gap from jump to landing) Feel- Everyones really cool to eachother, and there are very few jerks. Lifts- 3 Favorite of all boarded resorts- Mount Shasta It's a cool lil' local resort, but I need to get to tahoe or something next season.
All ceramics have those properties. Values can be high or low. You are asking for a piece of string that doesn't have the property of length — meaningless.
If you consider the states of Vermont, NY, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and California, it would be easier to name the ones that I haven't skied. But that's besides the point. Favorite areas in the east: Bolton Valley (small, but awesome lines) Mad River Glen (ditto - and extreme) Tuckerman's Ravine (crazy fun) Gore Favorite areas in the west: Alta - hands down - and my home area at the moment. Jackson Hole - only one word can describe it: WOW! Snowbird - the hyped up cousin of Alta. Solitude - great snow (almost as good as Alta) Alpine Meadows and Heavenly -- at least in the early 90's. I haven't been to those places since.
