I bought a front loader in February. My clothes are cleaner and I can load a little bit more into it, but not a King sized comforter. My clothes also are holding up better compared to using a machine with an agitator. I don't know the model to which you are referring, but name brand washer companies often have a generic model that they make, ask at a Home Improvement Store or SEARS. The quality is just as good, but you save money. Good luck!
