Be great if I could find a manual for wiring as well.
Look up Painless wiring. They will make you one. They are the guys that do a lot of street rods. Also, check with Ford parts dept. you may be able to find one, but I think that would be a long shot after all these years.
try checking every wire that goes to and from the headligt switch or your dimmer switch
