Question:

need advice for my mossberg 500?

ok so i got a mossberg 500 cruiser.and ive got a couple of questions so it be great if i could get them al answered, well i wondered with such a short barrel is hunting out of the question,if not what could i huntshould i buy another barrel, id like to go bird hunting what type of barrel would you suggest, length .smooth,or rifled, what type of chokes, also ive been looking at alot of these barrels online and they all say they fit six shot mossbergs, my magazine holds way 7 so im guessing its too long so would i have too buy a shorter one,the reason i ask is cause i read on hear that you couldnt convert the home defense security models to hunt, im guessing it might be because of the long magazine tubes the barrels wouldnt fit, am i right or is there something i dont know

Answer:

I've seen walls stuffed with corn stalksThey were also laid across the attic floor Also newspapers, wool, hay.
Add rice hulls to the above listSome people think rice hulls could replace fiberglass insulation again; they have about the same R-value as fiberglass per inch and are almost impossible to burn.
We have found everything ( and pretty much in chronological order ) from no insulation, newspapers tucked in around window and door openings, so-called insulation board, rock wool blankets in the 2 thick range, cellulose blown-in, (which goes back to 1 to insulate those houses with no insulation ), fiberglass batts, and foam spray.
The Cruiser has an extended magazine Most hunting barrels will not accommodate the longer mag Plus the fact that it would be almost as cheap just to buy a used shotgun for hunting than to buy a new barrel that will fit that mag Don't listen to our friend A 12inch barrel would be illegal without proper registration plus the fact that it would be shorter than the magazine, which would not be a good thing in itself and a 20inch barrel is still considered home defense length
