Right i have just got my own house and my partner is thinking of fitting the carpet himself as we are running low on funds and the carpet place we brought it from are wanting ?45 a room which we honestly cannont afford!We have the knee banging gripper thing but i was woundering if there anything else in tool wise im going to need or maybe someone out there know some cheap carpet fitters in wolverhampton? is it a puppy from a litter of your dogs? or have you just bought a 5 week old puppy? if its the latter then you need to take it to the vet asap as a puppy this young will die without the right care/food. report the breeder to the RSPCA (UK) or other organisation if ur in the US. puppies minimum age for leaving dam/litter mates is 8weeks for a good reason, before this age you are only taking on a potentially BIG problem and expensive vet bill.
