Question:

Need help cleaning micro fiber couch?

We bought a micro fiber couch about a year ago from Reymore and FlanniganWe have a black lab and were worried about keeping it cleanThe sales woman said that it would be easy to keep clean, well, she liedIts only a year old and it looks like it was picked up off the side of the roadIts not so much the dog hair, its the quot;lab oilquot; that makes them water repellentI've gone through I don't know how may bottles of Resolve and I don't know how many times I've rented a Rug Doctor and when I try to clean it, it seems to come out worse lookingDoes anyone out there have any tips for me, or is this a lost cause?

Answer:

After trying all those things I would get a professional to clean it! Try Stanley Steamer we have used them for years and our couch and other upholstered items always come out looking new againIt won't cost more than $100 for one couch, probably much less depends on your area thoughGood Luck! And in the future put throw blankets down over the couch when the dog is on it and then you can throw those in the wash instead of his oils getting on your couch.
That sounds delicious!
