Question:

need help finding a cold air intake for my audi a4 1.8t?

i have a 2001 audi a4 1.8t need help finding a cold air intake were can i buy one. new or used

Answer:

here we go my favorite peeve//if your audi needed that thingy they would have installed it/ audi and bmw have engineers that figure everything and i mean everything on that car/ its enough to drive someone crazy how they do it/ you are on the verge of messing up your audi because some dingy-dong told you about a tin can accessory/ you will get better return from a good hard-wax job
if its a a million.8t than dont waste some money and time on getting a chilly air intake the inventory airbox already takes in as lots air using fact the little quicker can manage so till you improve the faster than it wont do a ingredient.
Want to find one? Go open your hood, and look at the engine. Your car HAS a cold air intake. The intake leads away from the hot air around the engine, to the colder air near the bumper. Cold air intake. Problem solved. An aftermarket one simply replaces the piping with chrome, but there's basically no benefit at all, because you're not doing anything the car doesn't already have.
