Question:

need some info on car tires?

at the bridgestone/ firestone website, they have the list of tire sizes and prices and also specs about the tire, and one of the specs is load capacity, the load capacity for the tire im interested in is 1411 lbs 35 psi, now, does that mean all the tires capacity together or just that one tire, and if its all of the tires then would it make it about 6000 lbs total?

Answer:

The load capacity info on the tire is per tire. Certain tires and sizes have different load capacity. Obviously the larger the tire the greater the load capacity. There are some cases (mostly in truck tires) where there are different load capacity ranges for the same tire. Most of the time you don't need to worry about this unless you are changing sizes and don not want to go under what is recommended for the car.
