Need Trig help please?

Answer:

Assuming you have verified the cooling system is full and free of leaks, look at your blend door servo motor. It should be located on top of the heater box under the glove box. The servo could be bad, but more commonly the plastic flapper inside the box has broken. There is a D shaped hole where the blend door servo engages the door and the D shaped hole breaks. The servo works just fine and you can often check the operation by looking at it while cycling the temp control, but the door doesn't move because it's connection to the servo is broken. If the blend door is broken, Ford sells the complete HVAC housing, complete with the door inside. To replace the housing, remove the entire dash assy and replace the box. A real time saver is to remove the $5 door from the $150 box from Ford and reinstall in your old box. This is not a job for the faint of heart that takes a professional most of the day. Sometimes, you can remove the servo, verify the broken D shaped hole, coax the door into the desired location and place a blob of silicone to hold the door stationary. Not permanent, but at least you can get some heat.
1. make police report after police report till they target your street with a sitting cop or a digital speed sign. 2. I wouldn't' park the cars like that, just gives more blind spots for kids to hide behind and not see oncoming cars themselves. 3. In an upscale neighborhood near me, I have seen parents go to a sign store and get signs made up, bout 3 times the size of a Realtor sign. States like CHILDREN AT PLAY 15 MPH with picture of kids running with a ball. Several parents have done this all next to each other and across from each other, it has become a mini school zone. Could also do the same but put the sign on a post and put it in a large orange pylon cone. Even put several of them at the end of your drive way so it gets attention and maybe they will think its construction, metal plate in road, etc. 4. Can sit in on city council meetings and voice your opinion. Ask or petition to have a speed bump put in, to have caution, kids at play, slow down, 15 mph painted on the street at each end as a warning. 5. Stand out in the road yourself with a construction type reflective vest on holding a sign like a crossing guard, slow down and stop . After a week of being stopped, bothered, speeders will look for another short cut to take, as this one now has a speed bump.
I live on a corner street and fully sympathize with you. My friend painted a piece of plywood white, and wrote on it in red lettering: Show some class, Slow Down! It's attached to the street sign very low (not blocking anyone's view driving) and it has seemed to workalthough late at night and the few idiots still go screaming through there! Around my area, the police don't have the time, resources to watch for speedersokay, that's their excuse!
If you are worried about your children being hit by drivers on your street, then talk to your kids. You can't control traffic anywhere even if you are a traffic cop. People drive more wreckless these days than ever.. That's like asking how can you let your kids fly and control terrorists, or how can you let your kids goto school and enforce gun control focus on being a parent and not the outside world. I have a cat that obeys me and walks with and without a leash around my house and people stop their cars because they are amazed.. when you instill education and rules with your children, you both can relax and be safe.
You may look like a pr*tt in full leathers on a 100-125 m/c but wouldn't you much prefer that than being in a wheelchair for the rest of your life? By law you must wear an approved helmet. Then you will need gloves, boots with ankle protectors and either a good double zipped leather jacket with back protector or a one piece suit and a good pair of trousers with knee and hip protectors. A little tip - don't buy gloves with metal studs on because if you come off and your hands rip along the road, the studs will heat up and your hands will get burnt. There are different materials for jackets and legs on the market so Google into Motorcycle clothing or one of the many makes that you know. There is nothing you can wear UNDER regular clothing as protection but for cold weather riding you can get body warmers, heated grips etc.Silk inner gloves are good too.
