Question:

new desktop build - sandy bridge?

I'm planning a new desktop buildMy intentions are to run 4-5 virtual machines in a lab setting (minimum server and client specs) and still have enough juice to browse the web and listen to musicI havn't built a system in awhileAm I overestimating chip technology or are these operations not a sweat? If I overclock and toss in a baller graphics card, can i also game while running the aformentioned load and not see a difference? Everything thing I find on the net says that you won't push the 2600k beyond its limit unless your benchingThat sounds sweetAre there better chips out there now?Plan on overclocking with proper cooling and running 16-24gb memory based on suggestions. Thanks

Answer:

DO NOT GET SANDY BRIDGE I suggest you Get AMD Phenom ll X6 Black Edition 3.3 GHz and 3.7 GHz With Turbo Socket Than Overclock To 4.5 GHz and get 4.9 GHz With Turbo Socket Also A Water Cooling Sytem Would be reccomended although not needed.
I cant tell if youre trollingor just stupid.
no it's not damaging at allbut, my friend dyed her whole head red with kool-aid though (so stupid.) and it came out horriblesome parts were more red than others and it was a really crappy shade of red tooit looked really dull and chunkyjust go out and buy yourself some real hair dyeit might be damaging, but hey, it worksjust use deep conditioning and only touch up the roots when necessary.
