Question:

No wireless connector in the back on desktop computer.?

I recently got a new HP Pavilion computer with Windows Vista, and for some reason, there is no wireless connector in the back of the Pavilion to connect with the wireless router. My old computer had one, but this one dosen't seem to have any round port to fit it Does anyone know what's wrong?

Answer:

Wireless connector? It's wireless! What it sounds like is you want to connect to your router via a wired connector so use the Ethernet jack. Or you are asking about the connector for an antenna. They have those connections on add-on adapters for desktops but not for laptops.
Your probably going to have to install a Wireless NIC for that computer. Not all computer come with wireless connectors.
You can always buy a wireless adaptor. You just plug it into a USB.
