Question:

Noninvasive car alarm installation?

In my current car, when I had an aftermarket alarm installed, a small hole was drilled into the dashboard for the led light. The problem is that the installer screwed up and cracked the dashboard. The shop was really good about replacing the dash, but I'd like to avoid something similar with my next car. This was a few years ago. Is alarm installation still so invasive? I'd rather not have anything drilled or otherwise permanently modified, but the basic factory alarms leave much to be desired.

Answer:

crossman has schematics and will sell you parts! just contact there customer service department
Tint is no protection, and honestly if someone wants your stuff enough a car alarm isnt either. Your best bet is a high end DEI alarm (DEI owns almost all the major brands Clifford, Viper, Avital, Python, etc) preferably with a 2 way paging feature. I'd suggest a shock sensor, proximity sensor and a glass break sensor. I believe most of DEI's best alarms are now sold under the Viper and Clifford names. And stereo coverage on your insurance as suggested is a wise move. I actually MADE money when my stereo got stolen (and I had a clifford alarm with prox, shock, and tinted windows, and the car was in a parking lot with the car alarm going off and noone paying any attention to it).
Well it just depends on whom you are apoligizing to and the veterans adminstration I dont think that is going to cut the cake in regards of maybe them being a white neggro !!!!!!!!!!!
