Horse Blanketing Question?

Okay, so it's raining and it's around 50 degrees and my 4 horses are all blanketedIt's suppose turn 28 degrees over night and I only have two stallsI'm not really sure what to do! I know that leaving a wet blanket on is bad, but I'm afraid that they will get too cold without onePlus they will be wet! Any horse owners have any suggestions?

Answer:

By living, I assume you mean permanantly27' may be a bit crampedAlso, if the little ones don't swim, they won't be able to go out, and play in the yard.
when you get out after just 4 years you get very little, you will have the education [if you paid into it] and IF you have any service related injury the THAT would be taken care of.other than that at the age of 22 you would not really be able to just go and live abroad.[two words btw] I doubt you can claim unemployment if you do not plan on being in the country to actually workUNLESS you retire from the military [only after 20+ years] then you would get your pension and with THIS you can live any place you wish, including on a boat sailing around the world.
We lived on a 26 ftBayliner Explorer for a 5 season's on lake Superior , Other than cold we loved it 2015 we will live in Florida , Fort Myers area !
We have a 1982, 27 foot Hunter that we live aboard 3 days a week and spend 10 consecutive days 3 times during the seasonOur boat is barely adequate for the two of us and our springer spaniel for those relatively short periodsYou would find boats in the low 30 foot range (this is where we are looking) to have many more options for some minimal privacyI have been told that larger boats, over 40 feet, although even more comfortable, tend to make you not want to sail as it is often a chore to stow things to sail and then rearrange it all when you returnI would advise you to try a couple of long weekends at least before making a commitmentAs for costs, there are so many variables that you would have to do some detailed research to find that answer.
That's a big temperature drop in a short periodIf your box stalls are big enough I'd tie two horses in each stall so they don't fight along with some huge hay bags within reach for each of the horses to work on overnightIf the horses' blankets are wet put them in the dryer and be sure that the animals hair is clean underneath when you put the blankets back on.
