Okay there is this cop who I always see around my office neighbor, gave me ridiculous $115 fine for parking in-front of fire hydrant couple of seconds. I just realize he always park there to get (guess what!) dunkin donuts. This is ridiculous! Try to hit it square and it's just a big bump, most speed bumps have a low/no spot between the bumps for a bike or rain water to get thru. I'm surprised to hear that you broke off the stand, it shouldn't have even hit.
