Any creative ways I can use my old laptop?It's broken in that it won't boot
If you are good with electronics, you could make good use of the laptop screen if you can find some way of connecting it to an output like a DVI on a computer. Take the screen out completely so you just have the thin LCD part of the screen and any connecting wires. Buy an over head projector, you know the ones that emit light to a reflector above it and expands a still image on a wall. Well, put the LCD on there and wire it up to some sort of out put (all laptops are different so the wiring may be different). Turn it on and you will have your own home made projector, it will even project in HD if the LCD is HD. Good Luck!
Take the laptop apart and take all the components out and sell. Then get the laptop, and do a video with the title Ultimate Laptop Destruction!.
