In my opinion I don't think he's worth it. You had the courage to admit to what you did and he abused that when he forgave you despite his true feelings. If he can't put the effort into talking to you about how he feels about the situation then that's him not putting effort into your relationship. What he did was imature and if the only way he can make himself feel better about this hicup is to send pervy texts to other girls rather than speak to you then what is that saying? and how is it getting even with you? He didn't even tell you about the texts, you told him about the kiss! So yeah, I know a year and 2 months may seem like a lot to give up but it seems like this relationship isn't doing you any good at all. Maybe the drunken kiss was sign to yourself of your true feelings?
The only reason why it would be a fire hazard was if it is wood.
