Question:

PC and monitor power cables mixed up?

Ok, my pc and monitor have the same socket for a power cable, and i mixed the two cables up, but one has a 5 amp fuse and one has a 10 amp fuse... What one goes where??

Answer:

put the ten amp on monitor, but doesn't matter either way is fine.
Depend on the monitor and the pc. Is the pc a laptop? if so it gets the 5 amp. is the the pc a full tower gamer ? then it gets the 10 anp .Same with the monitor is to a old monitor or a new flat screen with powerstar ? See what I mean. It best to call your monitor manufacture or pc to get the right answer. it should not make a big difference but with the cost of a new PC do not take chances.
Try it out one way and if it your computer starts smoking, quickly unplug them and try it the other way. Make sure you are using 220v.
