Question:

Plastic Surgery?????????

Why is there a social stigma against plastic surgeons, or why is it frowned upon or laughed at for an individual to become a plastic surgeon?

Answer:

Most people think of plastic surgeons as a sort of parasite. You go to medical school and specialise, then spend your life doing face lifts and tummy tucks, and playing golf on Wednesdays. There are plastic surgeons who work on repairing damaged faces, cleft palates, and the like, but that is not what most people think of.
