Question:

plastic vs. socks for my feet?

i wanted to have a soft feet resulted from leaving moisturizing creams to it.can i use plastic instead of socks. cos i dont have old socks to dispose right now.is there any unpleasant results caused by using plastic instead of socks? thanks in advance. :) hoping for your answers! :)

Answer:

are you talking like, saran wrap? the only problem is it might be a little messy, oozing out the sides, but i dont think it'll have any negative effects
Yes it will help but don't do it for too long as it has the same afect as soking your feet in water for too long
using plastic is probably not dangerous, health wise, unless left on too long. I had a rash that needed what is called an occlusive dressing(medication and a bandage that keeps the rash from air) and that involved medication and then plastic but only over night. Visit a thrift store or rummage sale and pick up some ugly socks for this. That way you won't ruin any good socks and will have them around when ever you need a softening treatment for your feet.
