Question:

PLEASE!!Need help with smelly jacket!!?

So, I bought a new jacket at the store, and the first time I wore it, I noticed that it had a horrible smell. Basically, I can only describe it as the smell of rotten fish. The washing instructions say that it can only be wiped down with a damp cloth. No washing machine, dry cleaning, etc.(it‘s made of polyurethane, viscose, and polyester, if that helps) I tried spraying it with perfume and letting it air out by a window, but no luck.Soo.Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do? I‘d really appreciate some help on this :)

Answer:

Allow the jacket to air out for about 7 days. If the jacket is porous or soft and cloth-like, spray with Febreeze or vinegar prior to hanging to air out. Don't air it out in a closet, put it in an area with lots of moving air, like outside or at least in a garage. If the jacket is leather like or non-porous, wipe it down with vinegar before you air it out. A dry cleaner may be able to deodorize the jacket if these methods don't work.
Oh god you have a V6 charger putting an exhaust on it would just make you look like a poser. ESPECIALLY a loud one.
none if you call a dual rear exit go to school and find a dick tip that is a car with a outlet around 3 inches and the driver is a dick it sounds crappy not a gto camaro or firebird GOOD LUCK
You might try hanging it out in the sun for a day. If that doesn't work, I hear getting a cloth damp with vinegar and sticking inside of jacket will absorb the smell.
