Question:

Polyester resin impact resistance?

So, my brother and I have started cosplaying lately and need strong swords (we also muck around with them at home) and being the technical one that I am, wooden swords don't cut it (no pun intended) because they chip and snap too easily. I was thinking of making one out of plastic, and came across Polyster resin down at my local hardware store, and was wondering if anyone has any information about its impact resistance? I would put a metal rod down the center for assistance, but want to know how badly it chips on impact and any breaks? Thanks :)

Answer:

Clean your detector and try a different battery.
put it out stupid or ur house will burn down its common sense
Tell your landlord that U R willing to pay late fee only if he is willing to sign contracts and give receipts. Whats Good for the goose , is good for the gander!
use a dry chem fire extinguisher. and also unplug it. also would be a good idea to turn off that breaker and have an electrician take a look at any damages to prevent another fire from occuring if any damage has been done. If an extinguisher is not available use baking soda :)
