Question:

power cable for eSata?

eSata means you connect the drive from outside the case. If so, what kind of cable do you use for power, assuming you're not opening up the case to use the regular molex connectors?

Answer:

There is a specific eSata power cable you should use - assuming you have the correct eSata outlets on your system.
I use an external sata for backup with a usb cable converter the power comes from the usb cable, esata I suspect would be similar unless you are hooking it up with arj45 or something?
