I was doing some research on these two genres and got a bit confused. I read that Power Metal has a combination of Speed metal with other subgenres of metal but I got lost in that part...so which are the other subgenres?

That really depends on the wavelength you are interested in. Different metals absorb different frequencies to different extents. That is also the reason why they all look slightly different and why some like copper and gold look very different. The alkali metal sodium, for example, is transparent to UV light, so it does not reflect that at all.
