Question:

Power tools what does this means in terms of machinery ??

I really what to know difference between power tools and ordinary tools .Is it specially design to do some special kind of work or it is of full power as the word describes ??

Answer:

The term power tool designates any hand held tool which is not souly operated by manual power. Power tools are generally considered to be portable and light weight, such as circular saws, belt sanders, cordless drills, routers and etc. Table saws, drill presses, band saws and the like are considered to be floor machinery or light machinery. Basically any electrical Driven--lite weight--hand held toolis labeled as a POWER TOOL. Hope this answers you're question.
Yes this is a very big confusion that people carry about power tools .people perceive that it is special for some work .but it is not like that .power tool is a tool for any purpose and have some more stability and strength in that machine .. It would be any thing a table saw or a drill or any tools .It is available in all brands as in dewalt ,bosch, etc I got this information from one site
Power tools require electric power of some kind to run. A hand saw has no motor. They user runs the blade back and forth on the object to be cut. With a power saw, the machine does the work. Note, some skills are required to run most power tools. Not all people should use them.
Power tools need electric power and hand tools need hand power. They both have there good qualities. Power tools are much faster but need power that may not always be available, and usually are pretty bulky and sometimes won't fit in the area you need to work in. Hand tools on the other hand are slower but can fit almost anywhere and don't require any power. Hope this helped.
All tools fall into one of two categories: power tools or hand tools. Power tools run on batteries or electricity. Hand tools are just that, you have to provide the muscle to run them.
