Question:

Pressed powder!?:) 10 points!(:?

hello:)so I found this covergirl pressed powder in my makeup storage:)I don't wear foundation I only wear concealer and I have oily skincan I use the pressed powder?I don't wanna buy a translucent!thanks!

Answer:

Yes you can! Most people say to use translucent to set your concealer, but I think a pressed powder with some color in it is perfectly fine. It will give you very minimal coverage so don't add too much or the concealer will be visible. Pressed powder will be better for you anyways since you said you had oily skin. Hope this helps, good luck hun! :)
i also have oily skin and from my expirience with pressed powder i dont like it as much as loose powder unless it is a very expensive and good product. ps. i would suggest using a powder puff rather than a brush
I prefer loose powder for my oily skin, but pressed makes it easier for on the go. But yes you can use the powder! It will absorb up the oil (:
i suggest you buy cover girls clean pressed powder for oily skin
If you have oily skin what dermatologists recommend is wearing loose powder. Now, I have oily skin and don't wear foundation, so what I do is: I apply an oil-free primer, then sunscreen, then loose powder with a brush. Touch-ups with NARS pressed powder but BEFORE I do that I blot off excess oil from my skin with blotting papers. That's the reason they recommend a loose powder, because using a sponge from a compact on oily skin can be, well just plain gross, as you are smearing the oil across your face and that stays on the sponge, but if you blot off the oil first and then for touch-ups you blot on the pressed powder (instead of swiping) you should be fine. I make sure to replace the sponges often too.
