Question:

Pressed Powder?? **WILL Pick BEST ANSWER!!**?

I need a pressed powder foundation, but I don't know which one to buy. I have NO acne, etc. very fair skinned (with neutral undertones). Can you suggest a brand? Feel free to add anything else. Thanks! (:

Answer:

if you're willing to spend for a good one to maintain clear skin, go for clinique or lancome other than that, i'm a covergirl/maybelline girl :) sometimes n.y.c. is good, but i think that's not too good on my skin. i was really clear, but then i started using nyc bronzer on my cheekbones and i don't think that's doing so well. remember, if you want a quality one, you may have to pay a little more, but in the end, i think it's worth it! :) good luck! hope i helped!
I have very fair skin also, but I do have some acne. I really like MAC's pro wear. Go to the MAC counter and see what they suggest. It must be nice to have unblemished skin. :o)
L'Oreal True Match allows you to choose a shade very close to your skin color. It doesn't clump and clog and is as good as many more expensive brands I've tried.
Recently I've been using Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, it's all right. If you have the budget I'd recommend you try Clinique or an expensive brand such as this, as they offer a skin analysis and then choose the products suited to you. www.clinique .uk then click my skin report But if you're a bit skint like me then you could try something like Maybelline or L'Oreal. Ask the assistant in the shop for a hand if you need it - that's what they're there for. x
Do not spend alot of money for pressed powder, alot of people mistakenly buy pressed powder when they dont really need it. It is all about your foundation. There are many reall great brands of foundations, I prefer Laura mercier because I have dry skin. But YSl has a really good one as well. Then you can just sweep on a cheap translucent powder, like ulta's for example, and tada you look fab :D Also, blush is important, I love ulta's shimmery blushes, they really bring out fair skin, get a pinkish color if you have dark hair, and a brownish/orangy if you have blond hair. Good luck!
