Question:

pressing roses.no wax papercan i use aluminum foil?

or should i just use regular computer paper?this is my first timemy boyfriend got me roses and i want to flatten them with heavy books, but i dont have any wax paperwhat should i use instead?

Answer:

Yeah, computer paper will work fine, but if you hang the roses upside down, they dry very nice, keep their shape AND keep their colorThat's what I do, I have a whole vase full of dried roses, they look really beautiful! 3
What do you need the butcher paper for? I'm curious! Your local butcher shop is a good start, or you might try an art supply storeIf you don't have to have white paper, plain old brown paper on a roll might do for whatever project you have in mindSince your question is in Decorating and Remodeling, I'm wondering if you need buther paper to make templates for placement of wall decor? If so, brown paper will workI've used it to trace items when I have lots of things to hang and want to do a trial placement first.
Have you thought about asking the meat dept at your local Supermarket if they would sell you some?
