Question:

Printer rollers keeps feeding after the document has printed?

I'm using an HP Laserjet P2055dn and am printing on check-sized paper through manual feed on tray 1. It's working fine except for the following behavior: when I put the paper in, the printer starts whirring, pulls it through, prints, and continues whirring. The rollers keep going for a good 10 seconds. I've looked through the driver settings and can't find anything to change this. Any ideas?

Answer:

It can be a deterrent to burglars and other anti-social behaviours however a video camera cannot physically protect you obviously. Unless they hold up their ID to the camera then there's not much chance of a conviction or even an arrest if something does occur. It might mean lower insurance premiums though, depending on your policy.
The main idea is that you want the lightning to hit the rod rather than a tree, house, person, etc. The rod is a great conductor, and is taller than most objects around it. The rod is well grounded, and provides an easy path to ground for the lightning. Since the lightning is electricity, it will take the path of least resistance to get where it wants to go (in this case ground) - and the point is that the rod is hopefully the easiest path!
