Hi all,I really need help from you on this matter. I have a laptop and i used it fine until today before my keyboard went mad. The problem: When i type w it becomes we and when i type e it also becomes we. The same happens with these words: 2 or 3 - 23s or d - sdx or c - xcSo basically its a line in keyboard that got malfunction.I tried everything i could like scanning for virus, spyware, uninstalling the keyboard and reinstalling it again. Nothing work.Any idea? Thank you.
laptop keyboards are quite hard tofix. its surely a hard or electrical problem . if you do know how to remove the keys i wold suggest you to see the switches and the alignment of the keys. a WARNING though do this only if your pcs out of warranty or you are confident about what u r doin
it does look like a circuit-board problem, nothing on the software side here. take the computer to a technitian - if it is in guarantee to the place where you bought it from
Try system restore and disable windows updates likewise
uninstalling keyboard? Are you using external keyboard for your laptop? Anyway, you may use system restore to restore to earlier point before this situation happened. Go to start program accessories system tools system restore choose earlier point before this madness happened
It sounds like an electrical issue in the keyboard itself since those keys are all in the same matrix segment. Try connecting an external keyboard just to verify that it works correctly with another keyboard. That will isolate hardware from software. If it's the keyboard, then you will likely need a new one. It's not that hard to replace on most systems. Good luck.
