Project fire lane width is 4 meters or 3.5 meters?
A fire escape lane is a road for fire engines during a fire. Fire lane shall comply with the following requirements.(1) the fire lane width should not be less than 3.5m, over the road in case of pipe rack, stack frame and other obstacles, the height of not less than 4m.
2) at least two of the ring fire lanes should be connected with other lanes. The end fire lane shall be provided with a return lane or a return field of no less than 12 * 12m2. The size of the return field used for large fire engines shall not be less than 15 * 15m2. The fire lane pipe and drain should be able to withstand the pressure of large fire truck.
3) the fire lane through the building of the door, the height and width of not less than 4m; gate stack between the width of not less than 3.5m.Fire lane need to meet the fire fighting work, therefore, fire lane layout should consider fire fighting work, a certain distance from the building is required. But the exact distance depends on the design master plan.
