It seems actual adequate and to be honest rose quartz is so much less costly and undemanding it isn't nicely worth making fakes. Rose quartz is fairly harder (7) than moldavite (5.5) so donning them at the same time could bring about the moldavite getting chipped or scratched yet no longer the rest.
Quartz is harder than glass. On the Moh's scale of hardness, quartz is 7 and glass is about 6. A hardened steel point (a good knife, for example) has a hardness of about 6.5. It can scratch glass but not quartz. Just find yourself a knife hard enough to scratch glass (try it on a piece of glass you don't care about) then try to scratch your rose quartz in an inconspicuous area. If it scratches it is glass. If it does not, it is quartz. Rose quartz, by the way, tends to be a little uneven in color. Glass tends to be a single uniform color. Rose quartz, if it is in the form of an actual crystal, will form six-sided columns whose faces have slight lines (striations). See the link below for a piece of normal quartz showing these striations. Polished glass will have other shapes, or will in hexagonal columns with smooth non-striated faces.

Probably the easiest method is to check its thermal conductivity. Don't panic this is very simple. Take your pendant and an ordinary drinking glass and leave them both on the table for ten minutes or so to allow them to get to the same temperature. Next pick up each in turn and touch it with the tip of your tongue, if your pendant is real rose quartz it will feel distinctly cooler than the glass, if they feel the same it is glass. You may have to do this a few times to get used to noticing the difference as is quite small but it is a good test which works with many different stones.
