Question about bench press?

So I have a barbell, and if I were to put my hands closer to the center of the bar, would it work my chest muscles more? Anything else about bench press is welcome.

Answer:

Close-grip = emphasis on triceps, and it's a great lift to use for building them. Wide-grip = emphasis on the shoulders. Normal grip = evened out emphasis. With a normal grip, you use the front delts heavily at the bottom of the press, the tris at the top, and the pecs mostly in-between. Not really-stick with a wide grip. Close grip would work your triceps more.
Farther apart works chest more. Close grip works your triceps.
