I don't get how to do chemical bondingFor example:Aluminum (3 valence elctrons) and chlorine (7 valence electrons)What's the formula for this?Please tell me how to do it in steps

This is bcoz its surface is coated with oxide layer which prevent further oxidation This oxide layer does not removes on heating .
