if i replace the battery in my smoke detector will the alarm go off?

Don't worry, aliens are not spying on you. Have you watched any scary movies or YouTube videos or read stories online? I often watch horror videos on YouTube of stalkings and murders from popular YouTubers as do many of my friends and for the first couple months I felt super paranoid at night. Now I could care less and little things I used to be scared of don't scare me anymore. If you haven't and you really feel like there is someone right outside your window, I would make sure it is locked and your door is locked and to keep your light on. If you have a phone call your parents from your room. If they don't answer because they're sleeping then call one of your friends. Personally though I would try your best to go to sleep if you are tired. You are probably just overthinking everything because you're over tired. Good luck
