question about horseshoes and the cost?

what's the average cost for aluminum horseshoes? i know it's more expensive then steal and they ware easily but i might need to switch my horse to themi will ask my farrier but i was just wondering if anyone knew a rough estimateand he only would need them on the frontalso, do you know how often he would need to get his shoes changed? thanks

Answer:

1They can be litter trained and nip trained2Play bites don't hurt much, it's like a nibbleReal biting does hurt and can draw bloodMost ferrets only play bite and training is not difficullt, just repetitiveNever ever hit your ferret for biting or flick their nose, you could break it, plus hitting can cause aggression3Do- feed a high quality dietFind a ferret knowledgeble vet in your areTake them in at least yearly for checkupsTake them out often for play, at least 4 hours a dayFerretproof your house Don't- Feed them raisins, or any other fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, sugars, or milk productsThey can't digest them and feeding these items can lead to diseaseDon't feed them dog foodDon't use clumping or clay cat litterDon't use wood shavingsDon't house them near rodents, ferrets are carnivores and will attack rodents 4They only need to bathed 1-2 times a year, only when they get dirty or sticky from playing in somethingBathing more often dries out the skin and makes them smellierThey should be brushed weekly and given a laxative once a day during shedding season.
They are fun to have, one thing I would recommend is there is a oil that can be mixed in with their food that helps to decrease in the odor they produceAlso, they love plastic bags, dryer hose type play thingsFerrets tend to be attracted to shiny things like jewelry, socks, just anything they can grab and hid in a spot of their choosingWhen they bite they can draw blood but not all the time.
I had a ferret, Sam, and he was once such a laughHe adored to dig within the lawn whilst I was once out pulling weeds (simply be certain there are not any hawks or different predatory birds round)He might play tug-of-battle with a rag similar to a puppyHe adored chasing the small puppy I had on the time, Dixie adored it and on no account harm the ferret despite the fact that I continuously watched them carefullyWhen Sam obtained particularly excited he might arch his again up, bringing his back and front legs near and begin to 'dance' sideways and hissWhen he first did this I suggestion anything was once mistaken with him, however he was once simply anything he did whilst excitedThe first bathtub I ever gave him, he didn't like and I had scratches all down each palmsFor a few motive the baths after that have been quality and he honestly perceived to revel in splashing within the waterJust supply your ferret LOTS of affection and concentration, maintain it blank or they odor (even descented)They are very social and may also be muddle field educated like a cat.
When my horse was having hoof problems my farrier suggested Aluminum wedges, he charged me $10.00 more than he did for the regular steel shoesI still had the farrier out every 8 weeksSometimes the shoes were in such good shape I could get them reset and didn't have to buy another setHowever, I have since pulled all my horses shoes and they are now all barefoot and guess what? No more hoof related problems.noneI have hoof boots that are used when we are riding on rough or unknown terrainLove themThe hoof boots have literally paid for themselves in farrier savings aloneI still pay the farrier to come out and trim every 8 weeks but it is cheaper than having shoes nailed to their feet Horses hooves are designed to expand and contract with contact with the ground, this action is thought to help the blood flow into and out of the hoofSteel shoes inhibit this process and it is thought that by inhibitiing this process they contribute to laminitisAs I said, once I had all the shoes pulled we have had no more hoof related problems.
I swear the question said What's it like drowning a ferret? i looked at it again and again in shockLOL.
