Question about Kodak 6-in-1 Card Reader?

Do you need the software for it to work? I put the Memory Stick PRO (SanDisk) into the Card Reader, plug the USB on the Card Reader into the computer, and 3 removable disk options come up on 'my computer.' when i click on any of them, they say 'please insert a disk into drive 'do i need software to be able to see photos on memory stick?

Answer:

You shouldn't have to need any extra software, but checking on Kodak's website, there's a downloadable driver for Windows XP, so maybe download it and give it a try. The link is available in My Sources. Otherwise, my guess would be that it could be possible that your card reader does not support Memory Stick PRO, only the basic Memory Stick.
You don't need any driver but having the drive being detected but not the card is not a normal thing - it's either that the card reader broke, or it was being inserted improperly.
