Question about the uncertainty principle? and nothingness.?

My understanding about the uncertainty principle is that it is derived from a thought experiment in which a particle is used to see another. Then, from the normal momentum uncertainty principle, a new one can be derived, the energy u.p, which can be thought of as an equation that dictates how much something can come out of nothing. it seems kind of weird to me that the idea that something coming from nothing is derived from observing waves. but why are there waves? it all seems a little bizarre to me. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Answer:

The short answer is to recharge the battery, open it up, and pour the acid out. If it's a really old battery, then recharging might not be possible. Also, car battery acid is ~30% sulfuric acid; there's no way to safely and cheaply concentrate it down any further (if that's what you need). Overal, I suggest not doing this. :-)
ummm. why is this in photography?? seriously.
