Question about Universal laptop chargers.?

I have seen Universal laptop chargers, and they guarantee that they will work with any laptop. Now obviously there are a wide variety of laptops, and each one has its own individual voltage and amperage needs. How is it, that this universal charger is able to work with any laptop as they claim? I mean, if you were to try to take a charger for a simple little toshiba laptop, and try to use it on something like an Asus Republic of Gamers series laptop, or an alienware laptop, or something like that, there is no way in hell that it would work. I have tried it.How is it possible that universal chargers can work for ANY laptop? doesn't make sense to me.

Answer:

It is in the category of if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. I would never hook up one to my laptop. The main concern is that there is a range of voltage that the power bricks operate on and especially if you run one with the voltage too high, it stands a good chance of frying your machine.
the universal laptop charger can not work with any laptop, you should see the voltage and current.Ensure that the voltage for your adapter matches the voltage (a difference under 1V is okay to accept).if the universal laptop adapter with a higher current will not affect your laptop in any way. then confirm the laptop's connector tip.generally, the universal laptop charger has 9-15 tips for laptop, few laptop can not fit,so if you want to buy a universal laptop charger, suggest you contact with the seller, and tell them your laptop model.to confirm first but i suggest you buy a replacement adapter for your laptop.
