Question:

Radar Detector Life Span?

What is the average life span of a radar detector assuming I keep it out of direct sunlight when the car is parked. I will also bring it inside when I am not using it during the winter so the cold doesnt mess it up. Some have told me 18 months while others say 2 years.

Answer:

Once you lock her up it should scan all your views to find one that will be able to detect harleys finger prints, try looking on the wall near her holding cell or by the door on the way out,If you can seem to find them or the right scanning equipment doesnt come up restart and try again, Best of luck
What this has to do with was two years or so ago OSHA came out against some oil based products that contain high amounts of certain chemicals in plastics and vinyl. There were a lot of baby bottles and water bottles recalled among other things and now products that might contain high levels of certain oil based products with high levels of those chemicals have to carry a warning. Your gloves probably are or have some vinyl parts to them and I suspect that is the reason. Some states have adopted stricter standards in regards to this and California is one of them.
