Answer:

If you got them in the black or silver/grey, I doubt that anyone would noticeIf you got some neon color, I think a hunter judge would mark you down for non-traditional turn outIf you are showing jumpers, they don't careI've been looking into them for some timeI'm glad you asked this question at this timeMy lease gelding, a 13 year old QH who had been a 2 year old futurity horse :( is sore on the front end off and on, and I would like to see if these shoes would help himI would probably get blackI would like to hear more from the poster that had a problem with the shoes, was it ever determined what was wrong? Had the farrier gotten instructions in this shoe?
THEY ARE BAD!!!!!!!!!! I put some on one of my older mares and my younger gelding, they hated them and when I went to ride them they both would trip and lose there footing a lotIt even got to the point that my gelding layed down in the field and would not get up which is saying a lot because hes a TWH and is used to having wheghts on he hoovesI had to get them removed but dont get them they are badburdfour and others, the problem was the balace the way these shoes are set they shifft the horses weight toward the heel (so to say) and causes pain and soreness,It was not good.
EhhShoes, If there getting expensive just go barefoot :) Yes, ANY horse can go barefoot, Its much cheaper and your horse will be much happierAs for the shoes, There super cute; as for hunters shows I wouldn't think they'd be allowed.
Check with management - besides an actual problem with the system, it may be they have turned-down the maximumwater temp, have the cycles on a timer, and/or shut it off overnightWe're also in a converted building, built in '62, each unit has it's own thermostat and air handler, with heat supplied from a central boilerThey formerly ran it at the same settings 24 hours a day, but it's timed now and the boiler shuts off between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AMHaHa - the association made electric heaters available for those who think it gets too cold at night (we have individual electric meters) our gas bills are down 15% and there are no more fresh air lovers leaving their windows open !!.
