Question:

rain with cold air intake?

what could happen ? i mean what does moisture in the intake do?

Answer:

Properly designed cold air intake located above bumper level should be able to deter the ingress of rain drops into the engine Moisture not water is not a problem with cold air intake (at least not with my car cold air intake) However, if located at the undercarriage, leaves can be sucked in to stall the engine, together with sand
hydro-lockvery bad and engine rebuild just get a short ram.
