I don't really have much metal in my musical diet. I don't have many bands that I like but I do like Witchfinder General, Saint Vitus, Electric Wizard, Sunn O))) and Pagan Altar. I've listened to loads of Black, Death Thrash via my metalhead friend and I didn't really like any of that. So mainly Doom metal or something else palatable to a Doom Metal fan.BQ:What sub-genres would be the most palatable to a Doom Metal fan?
Satanic metal bands are just as real as non-Satanic ones, and some of the best black metal isn't Satanic at all.

Black sabbath - there stuff with ozzy is good the rest is kinda crap, iron maiden - i dont like the stuff with blaze bayley (virtual XI, and The X factor), 3 inches of blood, megadeth, slayer (might be a little on the satanic side) those are most of the ones i listen to hope this helps
