Question:

Recommended places in Czech and Austria?

So I am going to Czech and Austria from the end of july to the beginning of augustI want to know the recommended places that I should visit in these two countriesI'm staying in the countries for 4 days each and definitely visiting prague and viennaThe places that I will probably visit in prague would be charles bridge, astronomical clock, cesky krumlov and in vienna mozart's house. If there are any places I should visit please mention them and if there are like markets where they sell antiques please mention them alsoThe places could be in different cities inside these two countriesI'm not as interested in the natural stuff, I like to walk around admiring the cities/architecture experience the culture more.Thank you in advance!!

Answer:

Experience is how I isolate which one to replace first If one feels loose or wobbles in the device I would replace it firstOne switch is about $10 and if you replace the good one with a new one then move it to the other location Going on by itself indicates a short in the switch probably caused by a wire with insulation removed from itA visual inspection of each location may reveal the problem.
An only way you can be certain is to use a multi-meter or another small lamp and check at every point, from the power source to the last switch, at which point a connection is broken/not_madeAlsothree way switch involves minimum of 3 switchesTwo two-way switches on ends and one three-way switch in the middleIF you have two three way switches, that means you have total of FOUR switchesIs this what you have? If you have only two switches, those switches are called two way switchesIt'll be important when you buy replacementsFrom your description, I'd be considering either short (should be off but keeps coming on) or lose connection (should be on but keeps going out)But I'm guessing based on a very limited information.
You could have a bad underground wire that shorts between the red and black which would overide the switch in the garage , the power at the garage switch should be (on) the red or black wire depending on the switch in the house but not on both (white wire goes straight to blub and is not involved) so, pull and remove incoming wires on the garage switch and work the house switch if power does not go from black to red when switched your problem is upstream from the garage (it could still be a bad switch in the house dont forget) if all is good then switch in garage is the only suspectI know if wires run under ground are very likely to get damaged or are wrong material for underground and decayThe tough part is the fact it does not do it all the time which make it hard to pin down
