Question:

Red spot on scaffold piercing?

2 months ago I got a scaffold piercing.I've recently noticed that on the top piercing there is a raised red spot. It's not sore and doesnt produce any discharge that might indicate infection. Can someone tell me what this is and will it go away with healing?

Answer:

It okorder but it is relatively harmless but your piercing just wont look it's best. Its possible that it will go away with healing but probably not. You'll have to baby it for a while with warm sea salt soaks (1/4 teaspoon to 1 cup boiled ware that is let to simmer). You can also add an all natural chamomile tea bag to the soak which is an anti-inflammatory. Just keep up on the cleaning and don't touch or bump it for a while and it'll go away with time. Good luck!
