Question:

regular keyboard to laptop?

i spilled coke on my laptop keyboard n now its shot. can i connect a regular keyboard to my laptop?

Answer:

Yes you can. Make sure you go into device manager and disable the old keyboard. Sometimes a broken keyboard can give random input to the computer. IF you have a fairly new laptop you can usually buy a new keyboard for it offline. They usually aren't too expensive either and not too hard to install.
Yes, and it should work unless the damage the laptop causes some compression issue which keeps one or more keys depressed. Better news, when the coke dries up, you might find the keyboard works again, though sticky. If this is the case, get a damp (NOT WET) paper towel and gently wipe the keyboard down. Usually the underside of a laptop keyboard is designed to keep the sensitive electronics from being damaged by a small spill. (you aren't the first to have this happen) Back to the original question, just get a USB keyboard (and mouse I would assume) and plug them in. You should be in business, unless the damage was very severe or very unlucky.
A usb keyboard will work if you don't have a ps2 port. Wireless keyboards will let you connect the mouse and keyboard through 1 usb slot.
yep just get a usb keyboard and plug it in and you should be set if the keyboard is the only thing broken
Yes. Or you can buy a replacement laptop keyboard. I've changed the keyboard on my laptop twice.
