Question:

Reliability?

How can I make a 13B engine (RX-7) more reliable and less proned to overheat and detonateI heard ceramic rotors could work out and 3mm apex sealsHelp pleasePrice is not a problem

Answer:

Rotaries are not prone to overheatingIt is a common misconception that rotaries are notorious for overheatingThey in fact are notThe problem is, that the rotor housings are aluminum, and the side plates are ironSo if it were to overheat the differences in metals at high temperatures causes the engine itself to warp as the aluminum changes in shape and size in relation to the ironI own a N/A 13B with 211,000 milesRelaibility is not a problem whatsoever, I have found that with proper maintence, the same maintanence that ANY car requires will allow a rotary to last for a long timeEven ported and turbo rotaries can be very reliable, provided you dont dog them all the timeBut that will lead to failure in any turbo engine over timeThere is no such thing as ceramic rotors, there are however ceramic apex sealsWhich are in fact known to be detrimental to an engines life span, as they cause more wear in the rotor housingsFactory Mazda Apex seals are the best hands downAnyone who tells you otherwise doesnt know a thing about building rotariesJust treat it right, and dont run it hard, all the time and it will lastIf you feel the need upgrade the cooling system, thats your best bet when it comes to fighting overheatingChange the oil and filter every 2-3,000 miles, and dont put cheap stuff in it.

your question although a sensitive doesn't seem real, because even you could tell the difference between hemorrhage and ham-bridgeTwo different words written deliberately the way you haveYour the troll it seems Even spell check defaults to the correct spelling edit ; well you can't blame me for beng too cautiousevery other question in this section seems to be deliberatly targeted, and when you see your wording, one can't help but wonderedit - this is getting quite petty now, but just to end this topic, even i don't care for mis spellings but when the mispelling seems to appear deliberate at first sight then one does wonderAnyhow forget it, hope everyone prayers are answeredbye
