Question:

Remove urine smell in carpet 10 points?

Okay so I'm renting a home. I had an emergency and i had to leave town. I was going to take my dog to a kennel but my roomate said he would look after her. So I left her with him and she ended up peeing a lot in one certain place. When I came back about two weeks later the carpet reeked of urine. I rented rug doctor and tried washing it but it didn't work. Then i got natures miracle and poured all of it but it didn't work. Then I tried simple solution, like the whole bottle and it still smells. I cant rip out the carpet because its not mine. Please help me.

Here is an old trick that truck drivers use to de-stink trailers. Buy some coffee grounds and pour them over the carpet leave them down for a day. Vacuum them up. If this does not work. I'd look into relplacing the carpet and padding in that room.
We have always had good luck with Nature's Miracle. I know they have it at PetSmart but I would assume they sell it in a variety of stores. If the carpet is dry now you can get a few big boxes of baking soda and sprinkle it over the carpet, let it work for a few days and then heavy vacuum. It is cheap so spread on a good thick coat of it.
Pour water all over the rug until it is soaking and then cover it all with a ton of baking soda (you're gonna need a lot of baking soda) and leave it over night or even a couple of days, then vacuum it up. Repeat this 3 times. When you are done with that, buy some AXE body spray and spray it all around the carpet and leave it.
carpet cleaners have an active bacteria that will eat the urine and other germs bacterias out of the carpet and when there is no more smells stuff / bacterias in the carpet the active bacteria will die and it does n
