Question:

Removing Ink Stains.help?

I been staying at my parents house and using the dining room table as my office and today the table cloth got changed to something white and I already knew I was going to somehow stain it and I have. It‘s white polyester with embroidery on it and usually I just take some diluted bleach (I use Clorox Ultimate Care) to the area and then wash it out followed by a run through the washing machine but I don‘t want to run in to the possibility of ruining it. The care label also says use non-chlorine bleach, so Clorox is kinda out of the question already even though I have used it before on garments suggesting non-chlorine bleach Any suggesting for taking out ink stains? It‘s from a uni-ball ink pen if that helps.

Answer:

i got here upon this spray at dollar accepted, in case you have one close to you, referred to as mind-blowing. It cleans very practically each little thing I spray it on. undecided the way it works, yet have not had any problems with it no longer working! maximum suitable needs!
Hair spray works very will with ink stains.
Rubbing alcohol or WD-40 will remove the ink. WD-40 is normally used to lubricate doors and joints that creak but it also removes ink. Spray the mark with WD-40. Allow to sit at least a half an hour. Then launder as usual. Repeat if necessary. Do not machine dry the table cloth until all ink is gone. Machine drying sets stains. Important: Test a small, inconspicuous area first before using WD-40. If the WD-40 leaves an oil mark, you can then remove this with dish washing liquid. Rub a little into the mark. Allow to sit a half an hour. Then launder as usual. __________________ If you use rubbing alcoholpour some rubbing alcohol in a small bowl. Soak the stain in the bowl for at least a half an hour. Then launder as usual. -
