Answer:

Best of luck!
you can buy special liquid from the vet for this job, Pets at home is a great store and it is world wide
Sprinkle baking soda on the stain, leave overnight and vacuum. Good luck!
You really can't afford to replace the carpet or put in a new easy-to-clean flooring like wood? Don't you want to start out life in your new home with a clean, new flooring that nobody but you touched? Could you at least do some research and price some of the options to see what you can afford? Your word ruined tells me that this is not just a minor spot here and there. There may also be old stains that you can't even see. Doesn't it turn you off just a wee bit to think of living on carpet saturated with excrement? If you really can't or won't replace the carpeting, you will still have to spend some money by calling in a good, reliable professional carpet cleaner. Believe me, just shpritzing a stain remover here and there will not do the trick.
Not a carpet cleaner, but an enzyme neutralizer. Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution from the pet store. Squirt it on and just let it dry. Will not clean the carpet. It will eliminate the stain and any odor.
